Festus R6 School District

Festus Elementary and Intermediate Schools conducts a service project to benefit families in need during the Christmas Season. To help ensure all children have a blessed Christmas, they have a 2 week period where they will be collecting donations of money (silver coins and green dollars, please). All monies will be given to the Jefferson Community Action Corporation for their annual Toy Distribution at the National Guard Armory in Festus.

Each classroom has a goal of $30.00. Money donated will be used to purchase gifts, clothing and books. Last year the Action Corporation assisted in over 2,000 families in the Jefferson County area.
