Appointments can now be made for Kindergarten Registration for the 2023-2024 school year. Registration will be held on March 16, 17 and 18, 2023 at Festus Elementary School. Children who will be 5-years-old on or before July 31, 2023 will be eligible for kindergarten next school year.
Click on this link to be directed to the appointment sign-up page. There you will find more information and links for beginning the process with online registration. You will also be able to sign-up your soon-to-be kindergarten student for summer school.
When making your appointment for March 16, 17 or 18, you must bring your child to registration so they can be tested. You must also bring your ID, your child's birth certificate, vaccination records for your child and proof of residency documentation and any court orders related to your child. Acceptable forms of proof of residency include: a utility bill in your name with service address and due date visible, mortgage papers, recent property tax statement or rental agreement.
Parents whose students were recently tested at preschool or daycare by Parents as Teachers do not need to make an appointment. You will be contacted to come in to provide vaccination records and proof of residency documents, but you must complete the online registration portion. Click here to do that.
